I drove a Geo Storm under a B-1A at the USAF museum when I was in college. True story.
Those planes are dead sexy.

Where?

So, I’m fairly certain that’s a screenshot from Flight Simulator.

That sounds like a one in a million story.

May be, I’m in my phone so I can’t see as well.
This one looks more real life.

Looked much better in anit-flash white anyway:

I parked my Outback under the wing of a Tomcat a couple months ago.
Not as impressive, but I wanted to share too.

Cars under planes. It can be a thing!

And IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII... will always love youuuuuuuuuuuuu...
God that’s a sexy plane. Even sexier when you think about what it’s capable of. 700 mph while less than 500 feet off the ground, despite being 150 feet long and weighing over 200,000 lbs. Mach 1.25 at altitude. Yes. Yes please.

Sure does. I’ve got a little Corgi diecast of a B-1 in anti-flash white. No regrets in that purchase.
The three color similar to European One (aka Lizard) also suits the aircraft.

Let’s make this happen!

Bad to the B-one!

Hey now, those are B-1As. That is to say Mach 1.2 at sea level and Mach 2.3 at altitude.

I thought 1.2 was the initial goal, but it was lowered to 0.85 before the 1A actually flew

Maybe? See some conflicting info. My understanding is that the lower speed was related to engine intake changes for RCS reduction (stealthiness being more important than speed by the late ‘80s), but I thought that happened as part of the B-1B redesign. It may be sort of mixed anyways since two of the four B-1A prototypes were used as B-1B testbeds, and thus presumably acquired B-1B characteristics.

Yeah, definitely confusing. Wiki and globalsecurity.org put it at subsonic, while fas.org puts it at 1.2

If I had access to my personal aviation library at home in Massachusetts, I could provide a solid answer. But, that's 24 hours away.

I’m in Mass. Is the key under the mat?

Oh snap. Hello fellow Masshole!
No, the keys are with me.
